Description
Robinson+Cole, a Vault “Top Ranked” Am Law 200 Firm, seeks an associate to join its Business Transactions Practice Group in its New York, Stamford, Hartford, or Boston offices.
Robinson+Cole’s Business Transactions Practice Group partners with clients across industries to handle a diverse array of corporate, financial, and strategic matters. Our attorneys advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings (debt and equity), joint ventures, corporate governance, and complex commercial agreements.
Qualified candidates will have four to six years of experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents relating to mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, and general corporate matters. Experience with securities law and capital markets transactions would be helpful, but is not required. Candidates should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
Please note that all R+C attorneys must be admitted in the state of their primary office location. Top academic and transactional credentials, excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills are also required.
New York Applicants: Please note that the target base salary range for this position is $195,000 to $210,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
