Hello! We are a small, but growing, boutique, virtual, paperless estate planning and litigation law office, seeking a remote paralegal for immediate hire.
This opportunity is a contract, part-time, on-demand, subscription or per diem basis job. Full details to be shared at the phone interview.
The position will begin with the tasks of preparing and filing California probate estate cases, preparing basic estate plans (revocable living trusts, pour-over wills, advance health directives, and financial power of attorneys), client communication, and and legal administrative work involving mailing documents.

Requirements
Must live locally, in San Diego County, California.
Must have a college degree, have graduated from a paralegal program, and have a paralegal credential. (We're sorry No Bar Candidates. This position is for a career paralegal only).
LDA license a plus.
Spanish-speaking a plus.
Must be able to start immediately.
Must be able to submit a valid picture identification card issued by a state or federal government agency of the USA.
Must be able to work independently, confidently, and under pressure.
Must be comfortable with communicating by firm email only, with phone calls reserved for only as absolutely necessary.
Must have high attention to detail.
Must be tech-savvy.
Must be able to produce an excellent work-product, with the goal of being error-free.
Must be professional, personable, have a positive attitude, be humble, grateful, and possess high ethical/moral standards.
Must possess significant experience with preparing California trusts, wills, and power of attorney legal documents.
Must possess significant experience with all legal documents required in a California probate case, in particular, San Diego County probate estate cases.
Must be able to perform all tasks requested on an on-demand basis, with minimal questions, if any.
Must have a designated remote work space free of distractions, with your own office equipment: Computer (PC or Laptop), Printer, Scanner, Copier, and Cell Phone.
