Company History
Joseph L. Demeo founded the firm in 1997 after practicing with the Boston law firm of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo, P.C. in the firm's litigation section since 1992. Mr. Demeo left Mintz Levin to open Demeo & Associates, P.C. in January 1997. The firm has since grown to eleven attorneys and continues to expand to meet client needs. In 2007, the firm added a bankruptcy practice, which includes a senior bankruptcy attorney and a Chapter 7 Trustee. In 2012, the firm transitioned to a partnership and became Demeo LLP. In 2014, the firm added a white collar criminal defense practice.
