Boston law firm Krokidas & Bluestein LLP, a premier boutique firm, is seeking a Healthcare litigation attorney to join its thriving health and human services and litigation practices. The firm provides legal services to nonprofit, for-profit and public clients operating in the areas of health and human services, real estate development and finance, affordable housing, civil litigation, employment, nonprofit and education law.
Qualified candidates will have 3-10 years of litigation experience, with Healthcare experience preferred. The successful candidate will have top academic credentials, excellent writing skills, a superior work ethic, the ability to think strategically and the desire to undertake complex work. Massachusetts bar membership or the ability to waive in is required.
The attorney will have the opportunity to engage with clients spanning the Healthcare continuum, including hospitals, community health centers, nursing homes, assisted living, supportive housing, behavioral health and human service providers, as well as individual providers.
Areas of practice will include: (1) litigation in state and federal courts, as well as mediation and arbitration of disputes; (2) administrative litigation, including rate and audit appeals, license revocation proceedings, sanctions appeals and representation of licensed professionals before licensing boards; (3) state and federal government investigations, including DOJ, AG, CMS, and OIG matters; and (4) providing advice to clients on a range of regulatory and compliance issues. In addition, the firm acts as outside general counsel for many of its clients and provides advice and assistance on incident response, risk management and a host of other practical issues.
The compensation range for this position, which will be determined based on a candidate’s relevant experience and productivity, is $120,000 to $225,000.
